PLBKIT is established in 2007, to train and guide
special needs children - ages between 2 until 16 years old to be integrated and
involved in the society. To achieve this aim, PLBKIT provide Synae Development
Program which focuses on their holistic development. Our program include fine
motor and gross motor activities, self help and living skills; and language and
communication.
This
‘Open Day. . . A Penny for your Thought’ is to create awareness amongst the
public that with close guidance of guardians and teachers, our special needs
children are also able to contribute to the society. The differences of the
children should not be the reason why we put them away from the society. As an
adult we should help them to get ready to get involved with the society.
During this event our
children creativity can be observed through the craft that they create by themselves.
This craft will be put on sale during this Open Day. With the little help from
the teachers, our students able to produce their product even though it just a
simple craft.
Besides
the craft selling, families would be able to enjoy fun games with their
children. Other than that, we also will be selling the food and drinks
sponsored by Michelle’s DIY, Apollo Food Holdings Berhad, Leaderart Industries
(M) Sdn. Bhd. and Justart Taman Pelangi.
All fund collected on
the ‘Open day . . . A Penny for your Thought’ will be fully utilized to
refurbish the center’s building. It is to provide more comfortable environment to
our children while they are having fun learning.
Together
we can make a difference in the lives of individuals with learning
disabilities. By participating in this event, more information can be gathered
and shared among the parents of special needs children. Let the children know
we care!
